​Rachel McClard is a gay storyteller from a strict Christian background in the south. She writes diverse TV dramas about conflicted women who challenge the status quo and themes dealing with survival, independence, and identity. She won The Nashville Film Festival Best Hour Long pilot award, was named a Top 25 Writer to watch in 2022 by the ISA, was a 2022 Top 10 Finalist for the Film Fatales Stowe Fellowship, a Top 10 Finalist for the 2022 Roadmap Top Tier Competition, and a Stowe Story Narrative Lab 2021 Fellow.
